Spark Ads and Partnership Ads: A Guide for UGC Creators
Spark Ads on TikTok and partnership ads on Meta let a brand promote content tied to your account. Before you give access, agree the content, length and fee in writing, and note when access ends.

How they differ from paid usage
With standard paid usage, the ad usually comes from the brand's account. With these formats, your handle is visible, so your identity is part of what the brand is paying for.
What to agree first
Agree which posts the brand can promote, the start and end dates, whether you approve changes, and the fee. Ask how access will be granted, because the steps differ by platform and can change.
Use the shortest access that works
If the platform lets you set a period, match it to your agreement. Follow the platform's current instructions, and keep any authorization details between you and the brand.
Follow up when the term ends
Check that the ads have stopped and remove access where the platform allows it, unless you have renewed. Set a reminder when you sign, so you do not have to remember later.
